Alexander Vynograd
Alexander Vynograd was born on in 1969 in Kharkov, Ukraine. At the age of 6 he started taking piano classes at a local music school, which he finished in 1984. A year earlier, at the age of 14, he became interested in guitar music and began to take lessons with a renowned guitar teacher I.M. Balan. In 1985 Alexander was accepted to study guitar at the Gnessins Music College in Moscow, Russia. During his time there, the musician won several prizes in various contests (1st Prize in College Contest, 1st Prize in Russian Folk Instruments Contest,1st Prize in USSR Music Festival, Guitar Contest, to name just a few) and took part in numerous concerts. The year after Alexander graduated from college, he invented his eight-string guitar in order to be able to perform a great deal more classical music than what is generally possible on an ordinary six-string instrument. His invention was patented in the Ukraine in 1991. From this time on all his solo concerts have been performed on the eight-string guitar, playing which Alexander has developed new technique (e.g., playing with the help of the chin).

Preston Reed
Preston Reed is a one-man revolution. The 53-year-old New Yorker tweaks the nose of musical convention, pokes the eye of accepted wisdom, and burns the rulebook of the past. His unique style is impossible, unfathomable, unthinkable, as with blurred hands he taps, tickles, slaps and soothes his instrument, fusing polyrhythmic percussion with emotive melody to create a sonic landscape. Each piece is a symphonic tidal wave, yet Reed only needs one acoustic and ten fingers to send it crashing onto audiences across the planet.
Preston Reed – revolucionar.
