Alen Garagić (Tuzla, 1978) je po mišljenju muzičke kritike jedan od najboljih uglednih gitarista nove generacije. Rođen u familiji inžinjera i muzičara, svoje prve kontakte sa muzikom je imao vec od samog rođenja slušajuci tradicionalnu Bosansko-Hercegovačku muziku u svojoj rodnoj kući. Sa devet godina je upisao Nižu Muzičku školu u Tuzli gdje je pohađao klarinet kod nastavnika Bjelić Ranka. Gitaru je počeo da studira tek sa trinaest godina uzimajući privatne časove kod Viktora Simunovića. Nakon deset mjeseci studiranja, na nagovor gosp. Viktora Simunovića, odlazi u Srednju Muzičku Školu gdje je zbog svog talenta automatski bio primljen u prvi razred kod Predraga Stankovića. Nakon završenog školovanja u Tuzli (1997) seli se u Holadiju gdje nastavlja svoje studije na Konzervatoriju u Roterdamu kod Dick Hogeveen-a. Godinu dana poslije se seli u Hag gdje nastavlja svoje studije na Kraljevskom Konzervatoriju kod Zorana Dukića. Nakon diplomiranja u Hagu (2000) seli se u Barcelonu (Španija) gdje nastavlja svoje studije sa Alex Garrobe-a i Fernando Rodriguez-a. Šest godina poslije upisuje postdiplomski studij na “Hochschule fur Musik” Leopold Mozart u Augsburgu (Njemacka) kod Prof. Franz Halasz-a. U periodu između 2002-2007 godine, Alen je osvojio 17 nagrada na Internacionalnim takmičenjima gitare.
Alen Garagić is one of the most prominent guitarists of the new generation. Defined by critics as “a sublime artist and an excellent performer, who does with the guitar what a pianist does with the piano, expressing rhythmical, dynamic, harmonic and tone contrasts, as well as the different chiaroscuros that composers have captured in their scores The evenings works were offered with admirable musical richness …” (José Luís López, Diario ABC). He was born on November 30, 1978 in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and started playing guitar at the age of 13 at the Secondary School of Music in Tuzla. He continued his musical education at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Holland) where he studied under Professor Zoran Dukic. Afterwards he continued his studies under Professor Alex Garrobé at the Escuela Superior de Musica de Catalunya in Barcelona (Spain). He also studied under Professor Franz Halasz at the Hochshule für Music Leopold Mozart in Augsburg, (Germany). He has won more than fifteen prizes in international competitions, among them the first prize in the José Tomás International guitar competition in Alicante, first prize in the Andrés Segovia International guitar competition in Linares, first prize in the Velez-Málaga International guitar competition and the first prize at the most important Spanish competition, patronized by the Royal Family, the Princess Cristina International guitar competition, Guerrero Foundation in Madrid.
Levante guitar duo, njeguje jedinstveni repertoar muzike za dvije gitare u programu koji se sastoji od kompozicija Vojislava Ivanovica specijalno pisanih za ovaj sastav, aranžmana njegovih kompozicija za solo gitaru, orkestar ili fusion band “Levantina”.
Osim “originala” duo izvodi i Ivanoviceve aranžmane-impresije jazz ali i tradicionalnih i klasičnih “standarda”. Ovaj program je jedinstven spoj klasične gitare i klasičnog pristupa kompoziciji sa savremenim zvukom i učešćem improvizacije.
Vojislav Ivanović diplomirao je klasičnu gitaru na atinskom konzervatorijumu u klasi poznatog virtuoza Kostasa Kotsiolisa i diplomirao je i magistrirao kompoziciju na sarajevskoj muzičkoj akademiji u klasi prof. Vojina Komadine. U toku školovanja i studija usavršavao se i kod poznatih umjetnika gitare Alfonsa Borghese-a, David Russel-a, Manuel Baruecca i mnogih drugih. Dobitnik je prvih i specijalnih nagrada kao izvođač i kompozitor (Sarajevo 1975, Ljubljana 1977, Skopje 1979, Volos 1983, “Prix d’Italia 1991). Kao solista, član kamernih sastava i u saradnji sa orkestrom nastupao je na prostorima bivše Jugoslavije, u Rusiji, Grckoj, Italiji, Engleskoj i Španiji.
Mlada,izuzetno nadarena Aleksandra Lazarević, student Vere Ogrizovic na FMU u Beogradu. Počela je svirati klavir sa šest godina, a nakon završene niže muzičke škole neko vrijeme je učila jazz pjevanje. Ipak paralelni interes za klasičnu gitaru je prevagnuo. Osvojila je više nagrada na domaćim i međunarodnim takmičenjima među kojima se izdvajaju nagrade na Niksic guitar festivalu 2006, Guitar Art Summer Fest,Herceg Novi 2008 i dr. Pohađala je i master class-ove kod istaknutih gitarista Aniela Desideria, Scot Tennanta i drugih. Zapažena je po senzibilnom izvođenju, a u posljednje vrijeme naročito po izuzetnom izvođenju novih djela V.Ivanovića. Njihova saradnja dovela je do formiranja Levente Guitar dua.
Levante guitar duo performs unique repertoire of Vojislav’s music specially written for the duo, or arranged from his solo guitar pieces, orchestral pieces or music composed for his fusion band “Levantina”. Within the tonal world of classical guitar and its heritage this music is open to a wide array of influences of musical styles and cultures much like “Levantine” (Balkan and surroundings) spirit is a mixture of cultures and musical expressions. It is all-trough composed but at times improvised…
Apart from “Originals” the duo performs Vojislav’s “impressions” rather than arrangements upon selected jazz but also, traditional or “classical” standards.
Vojislav Ivanovic (Sarajevo former Yugoslavia-Bosnia) obtained highest academic degrees in Classical Guitar at Athens Conservatory with C. Cotsiolis (awarded 1st class B. Mus. 1986) and Composition at University of Sarajevo with V. Komadina (awarded M. Mus. with distinction 1991).
Both as a guitarist and a composer he was awarded various international prizes and distinctions.
Aleksadra Lazarević – Young and exceptionally gifted guitarist (Belgrade, Serbia) Aleksandra started playing piano at the age of six and after graduating she studied jazz singing for a while but eventually turned to classical guitar. She won several national and international competitions amongst which are Niksic international guitar Festival 2006, Guitar-Art summer fest,Herceg Novi 2007, and has been noted by audiences and critics alike, for her delicate and emotional performing. Lately she has won particular acclaim for the performances of new works by Vojislav for solo guitar which led to foundation of Levante Guitar Duo.
Andrea Valeri je rođen 1991. godine u Pontederi (Italija). Već u dobi od 16 godina, ostvario je zapažene rezultate na vodećim festivalima širom rodne Italije i cijele Evrope.
Počeo je da uči gitaru sa 10 godina, u početku sa klasičnim repertoarom a zatim i električnu gitaru da bi na kraju sa 14 godina počeo da uči različite tehnike sviranja akustične gitare. Ubrzo, započela je i njegova profesionalna karijera i izvodio je koncerte širom Evrope. Jasno izražen stil i želja za stvaralaštvom, uslovili su i objavljivanje tri nosača zvuka: The secret of Silence (2007), The Trip (2008) i Maybe (2009) na kom se nalaze njegove autorske numere kao i aranžmani drugih autora. Iako je vrlo mlad, već je nastupao sa svojim idolima: Don Rosom, Tomasom Lebom, Erikom Lugošom i drugima.
At the incredible young age of only eighteen is considered a real talent in the guitar world. Andrea Valeri, was born in Pontedera on February 27, 1991. Today on the road since he was only sixteen he obtained a lot of success in Italy and in Europe in the most important acoustic guitar festivals all over the Europe.
He started to study guitar at the age of ten, first learning the classical repertoire, then passing through the electric repertory, and finally approaching the acoustic guitar when, at the age of fourteen, he started to learn particular techniques like Thumbstyle, Fingerstyle, Fingerpicking, Flatpicking and more, finding definitively his way in the guitar world.
When he was sixteen Andrea started his real career playing all over Europe in three tour.
He acquired a soft and personal pick that characterized himself and consent to create ,at the young age of eighteen, three disks: The secret of Silence (2007), The Trip (2008), Maybe (2009) where we can find songs wrote by himself with other arrangements.
Andrea is very young, but he has already performed with all his idols: Don Ross, Thomas Leeb, Michael Fix, the Doc Sound Acoustic Trio, Eric Lugosh, Mickey Murphy, Eric Spitzler-Marlyn and more other.
